The well-established and highly successful pathway for those wishing to embark on a career as a jockey or working on a yard.
A pathway our sport should be proud of. Whether you are coming from The Pony Club, The Pony Racing Authority, one of the many Racing Academies or a graduate of the British Racing School or the National Racing College, the pathway to becoming a jockey or a work rider is fantastic.
The British Racing School, the National Racing College and the Scottish Racing Academy also have courses for people to learn to become stud handlers, yard workers, trainers and assistant trainers. Any job that you associate with working at a yard or riding is part of the well-established Rider and Stable Career Pathway.
Our aim is to make the other two pathways as established and well supported as this one is.
